About The Event

A behind the scenes VIP pass to a week of wining, dining and scenery like you only read about in books and see on the big screen! A journey with some of the most legendary wineries in the world. Interwoven with the brightest new stars all in their wineries, vineyards and backyards. We'll meet the owners, taste with the winemakers and hang out in the cellars of the greats. Names like Terrasole, Selvapiana, Badia a Coltibuono, Paolo Bea, Tabarrini and Fonterutoli all legends, and the base for which others measure their wines.

But man can not live on wine alone, so of course we'll feast like Kings and Queens. We'll enjoy dining at local restaurants, join winemakers at their favorite local haunts and eat in vineyards and cellars. We'll take part in cooking classes and make our own meals along side Chefs from the regions in their kitchens. Truffle hunting, olive oil production, castles, cobbled streets and new friends along the way. To see both regions we'll split our week into 3 day intervals with the first half in Tuscany where we'll hold base camp at the 17th century Castello di Fonterutoli in Chianti! This resort sits in a medieval walled village surrounded by vineyards, and has its own winery. From here we'll explore the countryside leading to some of the most highly regarded wine and food in the world.

Our next 3 days will be spent in one of the most underrated regions known to man, Umbria. Rustic, balanced wines with pedigree and soul.  We'll enjoy the local cuisine, scenery and small villages steeped with centuries of history.  And of course it's only fitting that we have a private hotel. Set on an olive orchard, we'll commandeer the Rastrello Hotel in Panicale all to ourselves. A sleepy village set at the foot of the mountains in Umbria.

All in all we'll visit no less than 8 world class wineries, hang out in some of the oldest cellars in the world, eat the greatest local produce and chill in centuries old palaces and medieval villages like it's our job! And of course, much more to come........Saluti!
