About The Event
We're heading to Georgia to visit with our great friends at Sweet Grass Dairy, and get up close and personal with their production. We'll spend 3 days exploring the back roads of Southwest Georgia, and meet some of the coolest people running the top spots. To begin our experience we'll learn how world championship award winners make cheese! That's right, Sweet Grass Dairy is carrying more swag than ever, as they just won 5 more World Cheese Awards!!!! We'll learn from Head cheesemaker Chef Jeremy Little how to make Tomme cheese, which will be shipped to us months later after it ages. We'll also enjoy a delicious educational moment between bites and sips of Heathen Wines with our very own Head Wine-O and Mrs. Jessica Little (the boss). This duo will lead us through a cheese and wine pairing event, to be followed with a private dinner at the Sweet Grass Dairy cheese shop.
We'll also voyage to White Oak Pastures to meet the Harris family and learn more about farming "the right way". White Oak has become a leader in farming at an international level. We'll spend the day with the family touring, eating, drinking and learning what makes them so far ahead of the curve. We'll make our own candles, learn leather work and of course, eat local and drink like royalty! A charcuterie board class will be on the agenda as well, Southern breakfasts each morning with a private chef and a whole hog dinner to finish the events.
We will also have the opportunity to partake in a breakfast cooking class, distillery tasting/tour and of course enjoy our own private resort grounds in Moulton, GA at Sundown Plantation. The events will start Sunday afternoon at Sundown and finish Wednesday morning. In between we'll have our own bus/driver, Chefs, sommelier, tons of cheese, Heathen Wines and who knows what else these crazy kids have in store for the group.
