This Fall we head to a region in Southern Spain most have never heard of, including the Spanish! Extremadura nestles right on the Portugal border sitting above the region of Andalusia. Most think of Spain and visions of Madrid, Flamenco dancers, tapas and Sagrada Familia run through their head. We will voyage to the little-known area where Castles, bull fighting rings, hectares of olive groves, the best cheese in Spain and insanely talented artists mingle without a care in the world.

As always there will be world-class wines, hands on cooking with local chefs and of course we will reside in not one, but two refurbished centuries old 4- and 5-star castles. We will also participate in picking of local olives for oil, meet the cheese maker…
