Everyone LOVES fried chicken, and what's not to love? Spicy, crunchy, hot, cold.......you name it, we all love the chicken chicharron! Of course, we all know what goes best with a delicious crispy bird.......BEER! But this is a wine tasting, so WINE!
Actually, several styles of wine work really well with fried chicken. We will be tasting 2 bottles of wine at our Fried Chicken Friday party. We'll taste a Chenin Blanc from Vouvray, France. A white wine that is super crisp, fresh, and vibrant, like a basket full of apples. And, we'll be having bubbles for our second bottle; a yeasty, vivacious, and awaken the palate delight. That's right, we'll be debuting the first bottles to ever hit Florida from Empire Estate Vineyards of the Finger Lakes, New York!
Our guest for the evening will be Chef Antwon Brinson of Culinary Concepts AB in Charlottesville, VA. Chef Brinson has cooked all over the world, in the finest resorts, and now has his own culinary empire. You're invited to receive Chef Antwon's famous homemade fried chicken recipe and a guided, step-by-step, cooking class. Along with the cooking class, you'll also get 2 bottles of wine with delivery and the wine tasting. (Food not included)

All bookings need to be placed by Sunday, August 23rd, in order for the wine to be delivered 2-3 days ahead of the tasting. Please have the wines chilled and both bottles opened before we start the event. (Wine pro hint: The bubbles should be around 48 degrees, but the white is fine around 54 degrees. We also recommend drinking the sparkling wine from white wine glasses and not from flutes)
