Santa Barbara Wine Tour with Kris Allred, Chief Meteorologist at WSAV

Join Savannah's very own Ms.Kris Allred as she tours through one of the most beautiful regions in North America. In July we'll head to one of the most scenic places to drink the best Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Chardonnay's being produced in the USA and some would say the world! Not to worry if wine isn't your game. The food, laughs, Kris's lively banter and knowledge of weather will be the perfect pairing for this journey. With advanced 5 star sommelier Heath Porter in tow we'll get up close and personal with the region’s best winemakers, owners and chefs. There will be talk of weather patterns, and how the sea, sun, climate and aspect influence the grapes, vines and local produce. The real story of this journey will be the comradery we enjoy as a group in a laid back, high end travel experience like no other.

Cheese and wine pairing with Dick and Jenny Dore, owners of Foxen Winery in the wine cellar.

Tastings from barrels and current vintages with Brian Talley, winemaker of Talley Vineyards.

4 wheel drive truck tour of Stolpman vineyards, followed with lunch at the winery with Peter Stolpman.

A vertical wine tasting followed by dinner in the vineyard with Chad Melville of Melville Winery.

A hands on cooking class with one of the best chefs in California.

And a Grande Finale "La Paulee" dinner at Industrial Eats!!!!!

To top this off our accommodation's will be the award winning Hotel Corque in Solvang, within walking distance to tasting rooms, bars, restaurants and shops. All in all at least 8 wineries and winemakers, surrounded with vines, wineries and private meals. And of course stories, commentary and education in a non-pretentious format with Ms. Allred.
