About The Event

Chef Carey Bringle of Peg Leg Porker in Nashville https://www.peglegporker.com/about-us will co-host the weekend with international 5 star sommelier Heath Porter for more cork and pork than is legal in 49 states. Chef Carey is award winning on the BBQ competition trail, is on TV constantly and has cooked at the James Beard house twice. Our weekend will kick off Friday evening with a wine tasting led by Heathen Wine Tours proprietor Heath Porter, followed with dining on your own and an after party in the beer garden.

Saturday will feature a cooking class outdoors with the chefs and free time to enjoy the resort. Endless options include world class golf, award winning spa, Beretta shooting school, fishing, pool, artists, hiking and of course the famous ruins. Saturday night will feature chefs cooking on their smokers, outdoors at the ruins with paired wines from around the world. All events will be safely distanced, outdoors and according to state guidelines.

Sunday is free time for you to enjoy the resort, check out or stick around for more fun. The resort has several options for rooms including multiple size cottages and hotel rooms. All events will be ala carte, meaning you book your room of choice and select what events you'd care to participate in. I do know that the wine tasting will be $50 and the BBQ dinner $95++. So as you can there is incredible value. Pricing for other activities and rooms can be found on their website https://www.barnsleyresort.com/

Or you can get a personal concierge experience by emailing Heathen Wine Tours Heath@heathenwine.com

Please let us know of all questions and remember to wear your mask, it is Halloween!!!!!
