A Manhattan-based Master Sommelier tastes some Washington State wines and is so inspired, he sells everything to move across the country to make his own. That’s the start of the story of Gramercy Cellars, where a close eye on the grapes (picked for almost-peak ripeness, mostly organic), matched with minimalist wine making techniques (no or little new oak, no additives) and a lot of time (extended aging) has created wine that’s considered some of the best that Washington offers.
We'll meet with Greg and Partner/Co-winemaker Brandon Moss to taste through 3 of their beautiful bottles. We'll find out the real stories and why the wines scream of purity, balance and restraint yet are deeply age worthy. Our tasting will consist of Viognier, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
All orders need to be placed no later than Sunday, September 13th by 5PM EST. Each order includes 3 bottles of wine, delivery and the tasting with Greg, Brandon and Heath Porter, Proprietor of Heathen Wine Tours.
