Croatia is famed for its stunning coastline, historic cities, and diverse landscapes. The country is particularly famous for its beautiful Adriatic beaches and numerous islands (over 1200), making it a top destination in Europe. But did you know that Croatia also has a thriving wine scene to pair beautifully with its insane culinary scene.
Join Heathen Wine and Culinary tours as we visit the sunniest island in the Adriatic, Hvar. Hvar is an island renowned for its lavish lifestyle, boating, historic old town and lavender. But in the midst of this lovely island is a thriving wine community producing local varieties like Plavac Mali, Bogdanuša, Kuč, Maraština, Darnekuša, and Pošip. We'll make new friends at Tomic, Vina Caric and Braca Plancic wineries with intimate, back door access tastings.
